Thing 4.

In my last blog, I discussed how I could incorporate blogging as an educator. In this blog, I will discuss how commenting is effective and important in building blogging "relationships."

Commenting helps create a sense of community and interaction by showing fellow bloggers that you are really reading what they have to say on a topic. Commenting helps someone to interact with the author about different views, agreement on topics, etc. Interaction is important because no one wants to seem like they are talking to themselves in a public journal! I found these two points in particular to be very important: Remember the power of words and invite comments. If you don't invite comments, people might not be willing to share their thoughts and give their opinions. Also, remembering the power of words is very important. Words can be so powerful. Be constructive with criticism, and just be nice. People don't like mean people. There can always be a nicer way of saying something, even if you don't agree with the author.
