Time to learn about more online tools!! In my last blog post, I talked about Google Drive and Zoho, and all they have to offer. In this blog, I will discuss two different online tools to create flow charts and mind maps!!
I chose Gliffy to create flowcharts. When setting up a flow chart, Gliffy gave me a tutorial on how to add shapes, lines, and text! Gliffy was very simple to learn, and very easy to customize.
The other tool I chose was bubble.us to create a mind map. Mind maps are great for jotting down ideas, without having to make them flow. It's a great way to brainstorm. This tool was easy to maneuver and easy to customize, similar to Gliffy.
These two tools could be used by teachers and students. Students could use the mind mapping tool to brainstorm ideas. Students could work alone, or in groups. As an educator, I could use Gliffy to create flowcharts to help guide my students on a topic.
