Now that we're all organized, we can breathe a little and focus on what we need to focus on... Education!
In this blog post, I will talk about social bookmarking. This is a topic, somewhat new to me. so it was interesting to learn about social bookmarking. I know about hashtags from Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. But, using hashtags to categorize websites is something new to me.
After I joined Delicious, I searched "educational technology." One of the first links that came up was Technology Integration Matrix. Some of the tags were: technology, education, web 2.0, and resources. I didn't see any comments. However, there were a good amount of tags.
Social bookmarking could be used in a classroom. However, since I plan on working with children, I don't foresee a HUGE need for social bookmarking for children with special needs in elementary school. Maybe later in the future, but not now, at least for me.
